The Volkswagen ID. Buzz is a modern twist on an iconic classic, blending retro design with cutting-edge electric technology. This all-electric microbus brings the nostalgia of the beloved VW Bus into the future, offering eco-friendly performance, spacious interiors, and head-turning style. For this project, we focused on protecting its unique finish and ensuring it’s ready for any adventure—rain or shine.

This VW ID. Buzz came to us fresh from the dealership to get cleaned up and protected for the road. This one’s special—it’s a longtime friend’s new ride, and we made sure it’s ready for the daily commute from New Smyrna Beach to Orlando with PPF and Modesta ceramic coatings.

Here’s what we did for this stunning EV:

1. Level 1 Paint Correction: Even new vehicles can have minor imperfections from transport or factory handling. We carefully refined the paint to ensure a flawless finish as the foundation for protection.
2. Paint Protection Film (PPF): High-impact areas—like the front bumper, hood, and side mirrors—were wrapped in precision-cut SunTek PPF. This layer provides unparalleled defense against road debris, scratches, and rock chips while maintaining a nearly invisible look.
3. Modesta BC-08 Ceramic Coating: The entire vehicle received Modesta’s advanced ceramic coating, giving it hydrophobic properties and superior gloss. This coating protects the paint from environmental damage, UV rays, and chemical contaminants, making maintenance a breeze.
4. Window Tinting: For added comfort and style, we applied premium window tinting to block harmful UV rays and reduce interior heat—perfect for those sunny Florida days.
5. Roof Rack Installation: To complete the package, we installed custom roof racks, adding functionality without compromising the ID. Buzz’s sleek aesthetic.
