Often times, especially in the Florida summer heat, we don't notice the damage until it's too late. Bird droppings, like love bugs, if gone unnoticed, can etch your clearcoat. • Prompt Cleaning: Regularly check for bird droppings and clean them promptly. If caught quickly, you can typically use a soft microfiber and distilled water to remove the droppings. Never scrub your Modesta coating to remove bugs or bird droppings!
• Consider Coatings: Apply a ceramic coating or wax to create a protective barrier on your car's paint, making it harder for bird droppings to stick. As mentioned above, a ceramic coating will provide an incredible amount of protection to shield from permanent damage.
