March 2024 Details of the Month Are All About Mustangs

We Couldn't Choose Just One!

Introduction

You all know we are Mustang fanatics here at Superior Detailer. Karim has detailed countless Ford Mustangs over the years, including one of the vehicles featured in this post. He's also owned a Mustang at one point. Gui is also a die-hard Mustang fan who has owned several Mustangs. His current Mustang is heavily modified and protected with Modesta coatings. You can definitely find Gui and his Mustang out at any major Central Florida Mustang event.

For this month's Featured Project, I decided to go with three Mustangs we recently detailed, two of which we did in March 2024. Here's what I have for your today:

Three different Mustangs, and one with a cool detailing story behind it. All with various levels of paint correction, PPF, and Modestacoating work. Check it all out below.

2015 Ford Mustang GT

This one has a unique story. Karim originally detailed this vehicle back in 2015, protecting the paint work with some PPF and the old coating brand we used before Modesta. The vehicle was then sold.

In 2021, the original owner and SD client managed to locate the vehicle and re-purchase it for his son to drive. It came full circle, back to the SD shop nearly 9 years later. Needless to say, it needed a lot of exterior work to bring it back to its original SD glory. The owner had the front bumper repainted and let it sit for 3 months before installing it and bringing the vehicle back to our shop.

The photos below show Karim with the vehicle back in 2015 and now in 2024.

This vehicle is a daily driver that sits outside at least during work hours. So, we went for a more aggressive amount of long-term paint protection to shield it from the Florida sun and other environmental elements.

Here's what we did:

This is almost a restoration project as we completely restored the worn paint work and brought everything back to like-new condition. We also fully detailed the interior and conditioned the leather. Our Level 2 Interior Detail removes years of dirt and oils on the leathers via steam clean and our premium interior detailing products.

2021 Ford Mustang Mach 1

This Mach 1 also comes from a long-term Superior Detailer client. Karim has been detailing the owner's vehicles since SD's inception over 15 years ago. Now that's loyalty!

If you were at our SD Cars & Coffee event last year, then you'll recognize this Mach 1 easily. In Fighter Jet Gray, it's a color option unique to the Appearance Package on this 2021. The paint almost looks matte in photographs and the black strip with orange accent was exclusive to the Appearance Package as well.

This is a show car that does get driven. So, we decided on a small amount of PPF with Modesta coatings for a perfect combination of gloss and protection. Here's what we did:

2024 Mustang GT Premium

This 2024 GT came to us from a brand-new client who found us online after an extensive amount of research. And we are so glad that he did find us! We really love connecting directly with the people whose vehicles we are servicing. It really enhances the overall outcomes for us and the clients.

This particular gentleman and his family are the reason why I'm writing this post and bringing back our Detail of the Month posts!

Here's what we did for his brand new Mustang:

Conclusion

We love what we do. We love protecting and restoring cars, and we love it even more when our clients keep bringing their cars to us after many years. It means we're doing something right.

Not only do we love what we do, but we are a team of Mustang lovers. I hope this post put a smile on your face while providing some insight into how a detail can be so different across three of the same vehicle models.

Thanks again for reading.
