April 2024 Detail of the Month | Audi SQ5 Detailing and Paint Protection Film Orlando

Paint Protection Film, Detailing, Modesta Ceramic Coatings
It was very cool seeing this sleek and stylish Audi USA SQ5 leaving our shop after receiving a solid detail and new paint protection film on the rear. We also coated the wheels and brake calipers (along with a second set of rose gold BC Forged wheels) with Modesta coatings! The final result is a super clean cruiser ready to turn some heads.
We want to showcase this vehicle this month because it's a good example of a lot of the work we do here. The owner needed some
PPF refreshed on the rear after an accident. The rest of the vehicle already had PPF on it. We applied our favorite
SunTek film after a really nice
Superior Detail and then coated two sets of wheels with
Modesta's BC-06 High Heat Resistant Coating for wheels and calipers. Check it out!

Detailing
Before applying PPF to a used vehicle, we always give it a proper detail, including engine bay. We want to remove as much dirt as possible to ensure a clean PPF application. The photo below shows the foam bath before the hand wash. We also remove the wheels and remove all dirt from the wheels and calipers before ceramic coating them. Preparation is key!

Wheel & Caliper Coating Application
Wheels are removed and wheels/calipers are properly prepped before coating application. On used vehicles, we steam clean and sometimes polish wheels and calipers before Modesta BC-06 application. The owner of this SQ5 brought a brand new set of wheels to also coat with BC-06. Click here for more information on our wheel coating.
Paint Protection Film Application
The vehicle already had a full body PPF wrap done at another shop. Unfortunately, the vehicle was in an accident and the rear pieces had to be removed and areas repainted. We installed new PPF on the rear bumper, hatch, and also added some wear & tear pieces that were not included in the original install. We used SunTek Ultra Gloss for this application.
Final Shots
With a fresh detail, new PPF, and Modesta-coated wheels and calipers, this SQ5 is ready for the roads and the next car meet or show. You won't miss this Audi driving around Central Florida, especially with the new wheels!
