PROJECT DETAILS:

Premium Detail, Light Polish, Modesta BC-X, Windshield Protection + PPF APPLIED TO HEADLIGHTS & DOORHANDLES FOR IMPACT ZONE PROTECTION

Preparation wash & WHEEL REMOVAL

First, we treated this Porsche to a double-bucket decontamination hand wash, designed to remove embedded dirt, oils, transport residue, and road contaminants. We then followed with a full clay bar treatment, ensuring the PPF surface was perfectly smooth, free of embedded particles, and ready for polishing. This step is essential to provide a squeaky-clean base for the steps that follow - remember, coatings are only as good as the foundation underneath!



We then removed all four wheels to access and completely detail the full wheel barrels, inner wheel wells, calipers, lug nuts, and suspension components. Every part was de-greased, scrubbed, and restored. We also dressed the suspension components to finish them off.



LIGHT POLISH

When customers bring in their vehicles with standard finishes and PPF already applied, we always emphasize the importance of refinement and maintaining that perfect, glossy exterior. An essential next step is polishing the existing PPF. For this car, we wanted to perfect what was already there and remove any potential minor damage to the surface. PPF can collect light swirls and haze with regular use, and over time can lose clarity. So, we went in with a light machine polish, specifically designed for film-safe enhancement and restoring transparency and gloss before going in with ceramic coating. Using a dual-action polisher and light-cut film-safe abrasives, we removed:

• Minor surface scratches
• Light marring
• Residual stains
• Dullness or cloudiness in the PPF

This guarantees the coating bonds to the cleanest, clearest surface possible.



Windshield protection film

While the body of the vehicle was already protected by full PPF, the windshield remained exposed and needed protection as well. It's an area that often experiences some of the harshest, most unavoidable impact while driving. To complete the vehicle’s exterior protection system from head to toe, we installed our preferred windshield protection film, a high-clarity, impact-resistant layer designed to shield the glass from road debris, micro-pitting, sand abrasion, and high-speed impact that can easily lead to chips or cracks. This film preserves visibility while significantly reducing long-term wear on the glass, especially in vehicles that see frequent highway driving or aggressive daily use. Although this service is priced separately and does not include a preparation wash, it is very much necessary. The result is a windshield built to withstand the elements—offering enhanced safety, improved durability, and a much longer lifespan than untreated glass.



MODESTA BC-X CERAMIC COATING



Paired with a good machine polish, a ceramic coating is another excellent add-on service to further elevate and protect your PPF. For this car, we applied Modesta BC-X, one of the most advanced auto ceramic coating options available—striking the ideal balance between durability, gloss, hydrophobic performance, and long-term resilience. In the above picture, you can see the ceramic coating being cured to the car via IR lamps. When applied over PPF, this product:

• Protects the film from staining and aging from UVA/UVB rays
• Provides extreme hydrophobicity for effortless cleaning
• Enhances gloss, clarity, and vibrancy
• Reduces oxidation and film discoloration
• Extends the lifespan of the film dramatically

Keeping PPF clean is essential to its longevity, while adding BC-X ensures the film stays slick and self-cleaning for years.

PPF ADD-ONS: HEADLIGHTS & DOOR HANDLES

High-contact surfaces and areas that generate a lot of heat are often the first to show signs of wear and tear. To finish off this Porsche, we added PPF to the headlights and door handles, creating another layer of durability where it matters most. This application ensures that our client's headlights remain crystal clear and protected from UV fading, and the door handles—one of the highest-touch exterior areas—stay scratch-free. These small additions offer uniform protection across the entire exterior of the vehicle and end up making a big difference. We pride ourselves in perfecting the tiny details to ensure our clients receive a finished product that isn't standard, baseline, or incomplete - but is exceptional and well thought out.
