2025 Lamborghini REVUELTO - FULL MODESTA COATING PROTECTION SYSTEM USING BC-M Matte Coating, BC-X, & BC-06 + BC-96TC
Good morning everyone! Today we wanted to share a post-holiday addition to the blog featuring this 2025 Lamborghini Revuelto. It initially came with a stunning full-body matte paint protection film wrap already installed - an excellent first step in protecting such an investment - but we knew we could make it even better by further enhancing the exterior finish and providing exceptional protection.
It’s a common misconception that once a vehicle is fully wrapped in paint protection film, that's all you need and it's ready to go - but in reality, PPF should be treated more like a foundation to be built upon - it's solid, but it can most certainly be improved. PPF by itself shields against impact, but without proper sealing, it can still absorb contamination, stain over time, and become difficult to keep up with—especially on matte and carbon-fiber surfaces. To truly protect your chosen aesthetic finishes long-term, especially for a luxury, high-performance car, they need to be sealed, refined, and maintained at the highest level. In order to do this, we covered the PPF, exposed carbon fiber, wheels, and break calipers of this vehicle in their own respective Modesta coatings, allowing for each component to not only look its absolute best, but be shielded against potential future damage and perform as intended.

FIRST THINGS FIRST: WHY COAT A FULLY-WRAPPED CAR?
Matte PPF and exposed carbon fiber demand a different level of care than traditional glossy paint. These surfaces are more prone to staining from water minerals, oils, fingerprints, chemicals, and environmental damage. Left untreated, even a fully wrapped car can begin to look uneven or worn far sooner than expected. By sealing the film and carbon surfaces with Modesta coatings, we created a protective, non-invasive barrier that prevents contaminants from bonding, makes routine washing safer, and dramatically reduces long-term wear. Think of PPF as the armor, and ceramic coatings as the invisible shield that keeps that armor looking new.
Rather than a one-size-fits-all solution, this Revuelto received a custom, tailored Modesta coating combination, with each product chosen for a precise role.
MODESTA BC-M
For the main body of the car, we used Modesta's BC-M Matte Paint Coating. Designed specifically for matte and satin paint, BC-M enhances color depth, saturation, and uniformity without introducing unwanted gloss. This coating chemically bonds to the surface without altering its texture or sheen, preserving that smooth, silky matte finish while adding meaningful protection. With BC-M in place, cleaning becomes significantly easier, helping the film maintain its original appearance for years.

For the Revuelto’s exposed carbon fiber and clear-coated areas, we selected Modesta BC-X for its balance of performance, clarity, and longevity. BC-X is engineered to enhance surface definition and depth while remaining subtle—perfect for high-end vehicles that have parts in many finishes, all with different levels of dimension. It's an ideal choice for finishes that are not matte but also not overtly glossy, either.
This coating introduces strong hydrophobic properties, allowing water and grime to release easily during washes, reducing the need for aggressive contact. It also provides excellent UV and chemical resistance, protecting carbon fiber from fading and oxidation. In many cases, BC-X represents the best ceramic coating option for performance-focused vehicles that demand protection without excess buildup or visual distortion.
MODESTA BC-06 +BC-06TC
High-performance cars generate extreme heat, and the Revuelto is no exception. To combat this, we applied Modesta BC-06, which forms a hard glass coating that chemically bonds to the wheels and calipers, offering resistance to brake dust, staining, and heat up to 1,300°C.
To complete the system, we added BC-06TC, a hydrophobic top coat that transforms the surface and dramatically reduces buildup, making routine cleaning effortless and far less frequent — all without needing to use harsh chemicals or aggresive scrubbing.
With the final layer in place, this Lamborghini is fully safeguarded and ready to roll!
WHY IT MATTERS
This Lamborghini Revuelto left our studio fully wrapped, properly coated, and genuinely prepared for real-world ownership. The matte PPF is sealed to resist staining and wear, the exposed carbon fiber is protected without altering its appearance, and the wheels and calipers are fortified against heat, brake dust, and environmental fallout. The result is a car that’s easier to wash, safer to maintain, and far more resilient to everyday use, while still looking exactly the way Lamborghini intended—no unwanted shine, no visual compromise. At Superior Detailer, our approach is about understanding each surface, choosing the right protection for that material, and applying it with precision. When done correctly, coatings don’t replace PPF—they enhance it, extending its lifespan and making ownership simpler and more rewarding. Even luxury cars that already come with protection can benefit from that extra layer of care, and on a vehicle like this, the difference is night and day. This is what thoughtful, long-term protection looks like at the highest level.
THE RESULT
