June 2022 Detail of the Month | 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo

Premium Restorative Detail
Hello again! Kim here with the June 2022 Detail of the Month. I hope you all enjoyed your 4th of July holiday weekend. This month we feature the Restorative Detail performed on a 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo. The Lamborghini Gallardo is one of Steve's all-time favorite vehicles. So, you can imagine our excitement in having one in the shop for a straight detail.
The vehicle is a new purchase for the owner, who wanted 18 years of wear and tear removed from the exterior and interior. With the entire vehicle wrapped in Paint Protection Film, we didn't focus on any paint work for this detail.
The commission:
Restore the original beauty of this Lamborghini classic by removing years of dirt from previous owner(s). Deep clean engine bay and interior to bring it back to life and make an enjoyable drive for the new owner.
Here's what we did:
- SD Premium Detail with wheels removed
- Interior steam cleaning with extraction and leather conditioning
- Engine bay detail
This was a heavy detail, about 12 labor hours total to complete, spanning over several days. Our team's Master Detailer, Gui, handled a majority of this project and the results are superior! Take a look and enjoy!
Wheels-Off Exterior Detail
Heavy dirt removal in our shop starts with the wheels and suspension. We perform this step by first suspending the vehicle and removing the wheels. Once suspended we get a clear picture of the detail work needed to get this suspension looking new again.
We remove the wheels and prepare for the suspension detail.

We are pretty sure this was never done for the life of the vehicle. I personally did not realize the wheels were in excellent condition underneath all that dirt and road grime.
This is Gui's specialty and favorite type of detailing. Check out the before and after shots below. This part is so rewarding!
Interior Detail
The Blue Scylla / Avorio Lilium interior leathers desperately needed a heavy contamination removal and conditioning. This is a multi-day process based on Steve's extensive experience with, and intimate knowledge of, these particular vehicles. We didn't get any before shots of the interior. But here is the final work after a full day of steam cleaning, extraction, and leather conditioning.
We utilize only the best tools and products for this work. These include Mytee steam cleaning and extraction machines and the full line of SwissVax interior detailing products.

It was an absolute pleasure for the entire team to have the 2018 Huracan Performante next to the 2004 Gallardo.
