Hey Superior Detailer fam! This week we're taking a look at another one of our prized throwback projects - this 2016 Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 in black. This particular model is absolutely iconic—powered by a naturally aspirated V10 engine and delivering 610 horsepower to all four wheels, it is able to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, with a top speed of more than 325 km/h. The Huracán's powerful capabilities make it a new benchmark among other luxury sports cars. Truly a force to be reckoned with!
However, high-performance driving comes with real-world exposure: abrasive road debris, grime, inclement weather, and everyday contaminants that, over time, can cause damage and threaten to wear down even the most resilient finishes. To match the client’s vision and driving demands, we implemented a full-body satin protection system that blends performance-grade defense with visual elegance.
We began by applying SunTek Ultra Matte Paint Protection Film, a premium self-healing film designed to absorb impact from environmental factors and road/track debris—all while delivering a lustrous satin sheen that further enhances the already sleek, aerodynamic design. Unlike glossy PPF, SunTek’s matte formulation refines and enhances the Huracán’s sharp edges. Take a look at the process below!
GLOSS-TO-MATTE TRANSFORMATION PT. 2 - MODESTA COATING
To further protect and enhance this satin exterior, we applied Modesta BC-M, one of the best professional ceramic coating products in the industry specifically engineered for matte surfaces. Unlike conventional coatings that add unwanted gloss, BC-M retains a modern, soft, almost powder finish while providing advanced chemical resistance, UVA/B protection, and hydrophobic performance. The result: easier cleanup, reduced staining, and long-term clarity, no matter how aggressively it’s driven.
