We received an email from a client with concerns of protection and after care of his brand new Black C7 Corvette Convertible! Those of us that know Corvette or any high-end American made sports car know that, the paint work surface is usually soft and easy to scratch. Improper care of such a surface could lead to mar or paint work swirl with little effort.
Protection being our biggest concern. We decided to go with the strongest paint coating package we offer! But first the C7’s finish had to be restored to perfection….
We all know new cars come with defects and paint swirls. Here at SD we believe Paint correction prior to any paint coating is a must! The strongest paint coating package we provide locks the final finish in for 5+ yrs so we just had to correct and polish this black beauty down to perfection and ULTIMATE GLOSS reflection!

Outside QC inspection of our correction and polish work is a must if weather permit
Scratch Resistant coating applied. Now we wait 12hrs to apply the next 2 Hydrophobic coatings.
All 3 coating are applied, now comes the curing process with IR lamps.
Finished result!
Gtechniq smart surface Protection was applied not only on the exterior paint work, but on the trim, convertible top, interior(after a full detail), and windshield. Carpro’s window coating for side and rear glass. CP Silica sealant on doors, trunk, and under the hood jambs.
