Full detail, MULTI-STEP PAINT CORRECTION PROCESS, FULL-FRONT PPF & REAR SPLASH, AND MODESTA CERAMIC COATING
Happy July 4th from the Superior Detailer fam! We're kicking off Independence Day by featuring a super-special stunner brought in by one of our longtime clients - this 2016 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS in sizzling Lava Orange. Though beautiful from a distance, years of wear had left the surface of this vehicle marred with many swirls and scratches, affecting the overall look. When your car is a head-turner like this one, you want it to look its absolute best - smooth, sleek, and free of pesky imperfections. With multiple levels of precise, meticulous paint correction, we restored the already vibrant Lava Orange color to its former fiery glory!
As part of the full exterior rejuvenation, we also treated this GTS to a complete paint protection film (PPF) installation and topped it off with Modesta BC-08 ceramic coating—two essential upgrades that not only preserve the deep, corrected Lava Orange finish but also make long-term maintenance effortless. Together, these premium protective layers ensure the vehicle stays looking freshly detailed, so it can steal the spotlight wherever it goes!

EXTERIOR DETAIL
We began this project with a comprehensive full preparation detail. No interior work here—this package focused entirely on restoring and protecting the outside of the vehicle. This process included:
- Double-bucket decontamination wash, which eliminates road film and bonded debris
- Clay bar treatment, which lifts embedded contaminants from the clear coat
- Wheel removal and deep clean—including barrels, calipers, and wheel wells
- Full detail of the engine bay for cleanliness and resale presentation
- Windows and glasswork cleaning & tire dressing for that final refined finish
- Spray sealant application to provide temporary hydrophobic protection pre-coating
This service not only preps the surface for deeper correction, it also ensures every component starts off clean and contaminant-free.
old PPF REMOVAL
Before we went in with a full paint correction, we removed the old paint protection film from the previous paint work. This step is often overlooked, but it's crucial in preventing unwanted damage to your car's exterior. Yellowing edges, adhesive failure, and trapped moisture/debris can slowly degrade your paint if not removed correctly. Here at Superior Detailer, we make sure no stone is left unturned and no step is overlooked when it comes to your vehicle - we believe in doing things the right way - even if it takes a little extra time - to ensure a job well done. Our safe, heat-assisted PPF removal prevents clear coat damage, and the cost for the service includes the use of specialty solvents and removal tools. Polish & PAINT CORRECTION SERVICE
Now on to the main event - paint correction! Once the film was safely removed, we refined the paint with a light machine polish using the Modesta P-01A Primer— an advanced resin-based primer designed to enhance the performance and finish of Modesta’s hard glass coatings. Acting as both a finishing polish and bonding layer, P-01A improves coating adhesion, durability, and visual depth—making it easier to apply glass coatings evenly and effectively. Its unique bi-layered membrane creates a smooth, thick foundation that fills minor imperfections without abrasives, helping to eliminate holograms and reduce the need for major correction. Unlike typical fillers or oils that wash away quickly, P-01A integrates seamlessly with automotive paint, delivering long-lasting gloss, clarity, and a professional-grade finish trusted by top-tier installers around the world. In using this, we are able to:
- Remove minor swirl marks, micro-scratches, and hazing
- Restore optical clarity and shine to previously covered panels
- Create a smooth, clean surface for film or coating application
This is to ensure that what we protect looks exceptional underneath. Additionally, we corrected any stray paint chips as necessary. Take a look at the before-and-after results below!
Full FRONT PPF + NEW REAR SPLASH COVERAGE
Next, we fortified the vehicle with fresh Paint Protection Film (PPF), strategically applied to the most vulnerable, high-impact zones - the front bumper, full hood, full fenders, headlights, and mirrors - creating an invisible armor against the hazards of daily road exposure. To go a step further, we added a custom rear splash zone kit, targeting areas often overlooked but regularly subjected to debris and grime kicked up from the tires.
Our premium PPF is a virtually invisible, yet incredibly resilient clear coat for cars. With self-healing and scratch-resistant properties, chemical resistance, and crystal-clear optical clarity, it protects against rock chips, salt, bug splatter, and everyday wear—without dulling the paint’s depth. It must be applied over properly corrected paint to bond and perform at its best, which is why we followed up our correction process with this strategic, high-impact coverage.
Modesta BC-08 Ceramic Coating
Finally, we locked everything in with
Modesta BC-08 Neosilica Matrix Coating, a high-performance ceramic coating for cars designed specifically with luxury vehicles in mind. BC-08 in particular utilizes a
neosilica matrix infused with zirconium to deliver deep gloss, excellent hydrophobicity, and durability.
