Prep Makes Perfect — Decontamination Wash & Clay BAR Treatment

Every great result starts with a solid foundation. We began with a comprehensive preparation wash designed specifically for midsize SUVs like the Tesla Model X. This included a double-bucket decontamination hand wash, a clay bar treatment to remove bonded surface contaminants, and even overspray removal—ensuring a squeaky-clean surface before any polishing or film application work.

Precision refinement - LIGHT POLISH & PAINT CORRECTION

Even on a brand-new vehicle, paintwork can still carry subtle imperfections caused by factory handling, storage, and shipping/transport — for example: micro-marring, faint swirls, or uneven gloss. Left untreated, these blemishes become permanently sealed beneath PPF or ceramic coatings.

That’s why we performed a light machine polish, tailored specifically for gently used or freshly delivered paint. We used a dual-action polisher and light cut minor surface scratch removal product designed to remove only the uppermost layer of microscopic defects, leaving the clear coat structure fully intact, while refining its depth and clarity. This step is crucial for producing an even, shiny finish that eliminates light swirl marks, holograms, and other fine distortions that dull the finish or interrupt reflections. Proper polishing also ensures that both PPF and ceramic coatings bond directly to an even, contaminant-free, and properly prepped surface—maximizing their effectiveness and lifespan.

The result? Smoother paint, improved gloss, and razor-sharp reflections—ready for high-end protection. FULL-BODY PPF INSTALLATION
