Modesta creates its own membrane on the surface of the vehicle. The same coatings have been applied and tested for over 15 years while we’ve (SD) been personally installing and testing these coatings since 2016. We have tried many coatings over the last 10 years and choose Modesta because it is the best!

Calcium and Magnesium minerals in water can deposit themselves on your paint with or without a coating. While the coating's hydrophobic properties keep much of the water from sticking to the car at all, special care should be taken. We recommend ensuring only soft water sources where possible when washing. Ultimately, eliminating standing water from drying on the paint is the only way to keep water spots from affecting the paint finish with staining or discoloration.

We provide training with your purchase of a Modesta Coating to ensure the long-term satisfaction and value of your chosen protection. The right cleaning products, the right technique, and the right frequency of maintenance washes for your vehicle is our priority. Certainly, we also prep the vehicles with Modesta and offer Modesta Maintenance Products like M1SHOT, M2BLAST, M3FIRE, M4SMOKE, M5FLAME, and others. We test them on our shop vehicle and personal cars before deeming anything worthy of our client vehicles.

Absolutely, Modesta LPS Leather Protection system is a great option to give your interior the level of protection you've chosen for the outside.

Modesta Coatings are tested in different climates including in extreme heat or humidity in Australia (similar climate to Florida in some areas).

Modesta Coatings are engineered in Japan.

The level of difficulty in applying the coatings varies. BC-04, 05, Private Label, 06 require hands-on training and skills verification by a small number of worldwide Modesta distributors – AND, it is very easy to fail at the application process and potentially damage paintwork

PREPARATION is KEY – Modesta makes products to ensure the coating bonds properly. We use Modesta compounds and P01-A Primer (machine applied) to prep the paint after wash/correction/polish. Do other coating brands do this?

Modesta offers a Bi-annual PlusCon conference where Modesta’s original chemist (Tomo) discusses the chemistry of the coating and educates installers on many different topics. Tomo is still to this day testing coatings that were applied 15 years ago. He routinely posts educational videos and topics on our Modesta Facebook page.
